You need time to recuperate, the first couple of weeks after you have your baby you will probably have times when you are very tired, and this trend does not necessarily go away in the following months. Think of it in these terms: you spent months growing another human being inside you. You were responsible for the baby’s nourishment in addition to your own, and now your body is trying to recover while you also take care of the baby. Directly after labor and for a short time thereafter, your body is still in the mode of pregnancy. The baby may be out, but your body is still trying to expel everything else related to the baby.

So how can you get back in shape again it doesn’t sounds like much fun feeling tired and out of shape a whole year. Nursing your baby will speed up your recovery.  Experts cite many different ways that breastfeeding your baby will help you recover from labor faster. The nursing stimulates contractions, which help to shrink the uterus back down to normal size. Your uterus was stretched out an amazing rate during the pregnancy, anything you can do to shrink it back down sounds like a pretty good idea.

There is also other things you can do that will help you get back in shape much faster, and the benefits of feeling energized is very helpfull now when you have to take care of your baby. If your body gets back in shape you will feel wonderfull and proud when you look good and are in shape. When you go for walks with your newborn other people will see a very proud mother with a lot of confidence.
